Medicare
If you receive a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, under the Better Access to Mental Health Initiative, you are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session for 10 sessions per calendar year when you see a clinical psychologist. If you receive a Mental Health care Plan under the Eating Disorder Service, you are entitled to the same rebate amount for up to 40 sessions every 12 months. The full session fee is payable at the time of your appointment and Medicare will reimburse to your nominated bank account within 24 – 48 hours.
