Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

Our cognitive-behavioural therapy approach provides practical tools to change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours that contribute to distress. At Sage Minds, we work together with our clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, beliefs and attitudes that are holding them back from living a more fulfilling life.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

At Sage Minds, we believe in taking a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing. We use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help reduce distress and promote psychological flexibility. Rather than avoiding or suppressing difficult thoughts and emotions, ACT focuses on developing mindfulness skills to observe and accept these experiences without judgment. This approach helps individuals gain clarity and perspective, and empowers them to commit to making meaningful changes in their lives.

Eye-Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR) therapy, is designed to help those suffering from psychological distress. EMDR is a form of therapy that uses eye movements to help individuals reprocess traumatic experiences and reduce distress. The approach is particularly helpful for people who have experienced significant psychological traumas, and the results are often long-lasting. At Sage Minds, we are passionate about providing our clients with the latest therapeutic interventions, so they can experience significant improvement.

Assessment and Diagnosis

The assessment and diagnosis of mental health issues is carried out according to the DSM-5 using a wide range of questionnaires, screeners, and client reports to ensure clinical accuracy.

We work with individuals between the ages of 18 and 40 - but welcome clients of all ages. As a therapist, I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.
